Fondo de Cultura Económica - Carlos Fuentes Cultural Center

On July 21, 2015, Fondo de Cultura Económica opened its tenth branch in Quito following the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Culture and Heritage and the Mexican publishing house.Thus, FCE arrives in Quito as an important actor in the promotion of reading and cultural exchange between Mexico and Ecuador. The branch operates as a publishing house, bookstore and cultural center, named after the renowned Mexican writer, Carlos Fuentes.
