Contemporary Art Center

The Contemporary Art Center is located in the former Military Hospital, in the emblematic neighborhood of San Juan, in the colonial center of the city. The architectural complex has a unique linear typology, adopted for the first time in the city, based on the technical criteria of European sanatoriums, whose distribution scheme, natural light and ventilation flow freely throughout the building.The construction of this impressive architectural work began in 1900. Today, the building has been renovated to serve as a stage for multiple events and activities. It is a mixture of its ancient architecture with a touch of modernity, which places it as the Contemporary Art Center of the city.
