Quito strengthens its position as a destination for incentive tourism
event
With the support of Fiexpo Latin America, from February 2023, hosted buyers and representatives of the MICE industry from countries such as the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Uruguay, Peru and Spain will meet periodically in the city of Quito. The purpose, in addition to attracting the presence of foreigners for events, conventions, congresses and incentive trips, is to showcase the tourism, gastronomic, experiential and infrastructure offerings of the Metropolitan District of Quito.
During their stay, the visitors toured the historic center of Quito, tasted traditional Quito dishes and took pictures of the most striking sights of the capital of Ecuador. The next day they went to the Cayambe-Coca National Park to enjoy the Papallacta hot springs. With these visits, Quito has forged itself as a destination for business meetings or recognition programs that companies offer their employees as a reward or incentive.
